Ciao all members
I'm new to this forum today, I have an apartment nr Pizzo on the West Coast which I visit 3 times a year at present but hope to spend 8 months a year when I retire in a few years time.
I want to be able to integrate into the community and also play an active part by volunteering some of my time to help others. I welcome all advice that I can gain as much knoweldge as possible. I am at present learning Italian and I will continue with my learning when based in Italy

It will be good to get to know everyone and exchange information. I am lucky enough to be living in Calabria having retired here a year ago. I still have lots to learn but I like the challenge presented by life in Italy and have enjoyed an eventful first year! ciao

Hello everyone,

I live with my partner and 2 children in Pizzo. We have moved to Italy and open a small business 2 years ago and we love it more and more each day. My daughter is 9 and half and goes to elementary school and my son is 12 and is in the second year of scuola media.

I found some very interesting information on your forum about the museums, car registration etc. and decided to sign in.

If anyone has any questions about Pizzo area or about bringing up children in Calabria - I will be more then happy to help.
